Don’t judge an ingredient by its name. This would be the perfect phrase for this super ingredient. Snail mucin has been shown to have a great anti-ageing and moisturising properties. You can find them in a lot of Korean skincare products because they are just versatile and good for your skin. 

2. Aloe Vera
   

Aloe is a great humectant with powerful anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to calm down or soothe irritated skin and helps to repair your damage skin barrier by retaining moisture for your skin.

3. Bee Venom

This one ingredient is popular due to its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and moisturising properties. It also contains a high amount of antioxidants. So there’s literally nothing to hate about this ingredient.

How to use:

(!) Always perform a patch test with new products, if an allergic reaction occurs discontinue use immediately and consult your doctor (!)

You can use it day and night after you toned your skin. If you have oilier skin and you feel like this product is hydrating enough, then you can use it as a dual essence-moisturiser. However, if you are more on the drier side, you can top it off with your favourite moisturiser.

Step 1: After toner, take 1-2 pumps of essence,

Step 2: Spread evenly across your face,

Step 3: Gently pat it in to enhance absorption, then follow up with your favourite moisturiser.
